Footnotes
TIP TOE JOE with the pace along the inside, held a narrow advantage early turn, disposed of the other speed entering the stretch, kicked well clear under firm handling. AMENTUM lacked speed while toward the inside, raced in the two path into the lane, rallied inside of traffic to finish up willingly and annex the place, no match for the winner. CONWAY broke toward the front, settled in the second flight toward the rail, advanced to race closest to the winner nearing the furlong grounds, could not contain the runner up, comfortably saved the show. ARKY ROAD well wide in the second group up the backstretch, four wide through much of the turn, five path into the lane, finished up with moderate interest down the middle of the strip to improve slightly, no real threat. GOBEKLI off slowly, raced back early as a result, swung four to five wide out of the turn, improved position while racing through some traffic. BET ON TIZ lacked speed, raced three wide through the turn, improved position in the drive while also not posing a serious threat. SOUTHFORK contested the pace between horses for a half and weakened. A LONG TIME also flashed speed for a half while widest of the first group, faltered into the lane as well. BIG BOURBON RIVER off a step slow, failed to menace. E MONEY in the second flight off the inside, four wide late in the turn, backed up through the stretch. SMOOTH MARRIAGE tired after racing four wide through the turn. JOEWILLY veered in sharply at the break unseating his rider. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE START, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
