STRATEGIC RISK broke with the field, prompted the pace setter in the three path through some soft fractions, eased up to that one while continuing in the three path midway on the final turn, put a head in front entering the stretch, drew under pressure past the furlong marker and continued to widen to the wire under a firm hand ride. SILENT TACTIC off the pace and the inside under stout restraint, continued in hand backstretch, angled out four wide turning for home after being let out notch, rallied well out in the strip to gain the place, not a threat to the winner. BAYTOWN DREAMER in mid pack through the first turn while also under firm restraint, remained under patient handling the middle half mile, raced in the two path and between rivals into the stretch, also proved no match for the winner while outfinsihed for the place late. SLEEPINGONFREEDOM four wide through the first turn when mid pack, continued off the inside, three wide through the second bend, went one paced through the lane in lacking a closing response. RANCHO SANTA FE fell back to trail after the start, raced four wide through the first turn, four to five wide late in the second bend, improved position with some mild interest. SCAR SHIP broke out but on top, set a soft set of fractions in the two path, briefly responded when the winner came alongside in the second turn, gave way when headed by that one entering the stretch. UNIVERSE last away, remained back while saving ground through the first turn, continued to race inside through the second bend, never a factor. OSCAR'S HOPE within striking distance while along the inside, remained forwardly placed in the final turn, backed up steadily through the stretch.
