RECKLESS chased outside of rivals up the backstretch, improved under a ride in the four path around the far turn, took aim in the five path at the top of the lane, bid passing the eighth pole, and inched ahead late. CANDY CANE CRAIN stalked in the three path, ranged up between foes while under a drive passing the quarter, led in the four path in upper stretch, but got edged out in the final sixteenth. RAZOR TAP pressed the pace in the three path, was coaxed along around the far turn, got passed by an outer pair entering the lane, but kept on for show. PRIME SUSPECT showed the way in the two path, was roused passing the quarter, lost the lead in upper stretch, and faded in the final furlong. WICKED GUN rated in the three path, was driven around the turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the lane, but evened out. MIDSHAKIN tracked inside but gave way down the stretch. OUT FLAT raced in range in the two path but weakened in the three path down the lane. SPRING ST. DREAMER bumped with an inner foe at the start, was welllback along the inside and never a factor. COPPERJACKET raced in midpack along the inside but retreated. ASTRO BEAU drifted out around the first turn, raced off the pace in the four path and never threatened. BROTHER ENERGY bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced towards the back of the pack in the three path and never menaced. SCUFFLE had an awkward start and always trailed was eased across and walked off.
