Footnotes
SILENT TACTIC broke back, raced unhurried for six furlongs in the three path, steered out a bit late in the final turn when just beginning his advance, moved out further to be widest for the drive, set down, accelerated past the furlong marker and continued with good energy to collar the leaders a sixteenth out and win going away. SOLDIER N DIPLOMAT broke out, was straightened, raced in the second flight while four wide through the first turn, moved closer to prompt the issue after a half, four wide again in the second turn when contending, continued to vie through upper stretch, put a head in front inside the furlong marker then proved no match for the winner, determined to narrowly prevail for the place. BUETANE closest to the leader to that one's outside, continued to apply pressure backstretch, challenged between horses and inside the runner up second turn, continued to battle between foes through upper stretch and past the furlong grounds, also proved no match for the winner late while being outkicked for the second spot. RANCHO SANTA FE moved up to a forward position after the start while off the inside, raced firmly in hand up the backstretch, idled through the final turn, angled out for room entering the stretch, displayed some late interest to miss the show. CIRCLE TAP back off the early pace, crept a bit closer after a half along the rail, covered up in traffic with four furlongs remaining, asked along when clear midway on the final turn, improved a bit inside of rivals into lane when went flat the final furlong. LIBERTY NATIONAL lacked early speed while saving ground in the first turn, continued to race along the inside through most of the second bend, came off the inside for the stretch run and went one paced to the end. SLEEPINGONFREEDOM broke back, raced four wide through the first turn, continued outside, improved while still four wide into the second turn, flattened out through the stretch. D'CODE broke on top, showed the way into the first turn, raced keenly through that bend, settled a bit when setting the pace up the backstretch and into the final turn, briefly gained a slightly larger lead when cutting the corner into the lane then caved in when headed just inside the furlong pole. SPIRIT OF ROYAL lacked speed off the rail, dropped to the inside exiting the final turn, came up empty for the stretch drive. STRATEGIC RISK in the second group while four wide first turn, continued in the main group well out in the strip, five wide through the second turn, gave way in the drive. BAYTOWN DREAMER in mid pack and five wide first turn, continued to race widest and was in the five path again into the far turn, gave way in that turn and stopped through the stretch. RECLAMATION fell back to trail after the start, remained sluggish, was distanced after losing contact with the field, eased, walked off.
