Footnotes
SAN SIRO settled off the pace behind SANDMAN in the two path up the backstretch, received a right handed cue in the two path midway around the far turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the lane, and rallied past inner foes to get up in the final strides. WINNEMAC AVENUE tracked between rivals in the three path, bid under a ride in the two path passing the quarter, ran on to lead while back in the three path entering the final furlong, but got caught by a late surging outer rival in the closing stages. CATCHING FREEDOM showed the way in the three path up the backstretch, came under a ride while just off the rail midway around the far turn, fought on while losing the lead passing the furlong grounds, and dug in late to hold show. ECHO AGAIN stalked outside of rivals in the four path, ranged up under coaxing passing the quarter, bid turning into the stretch, but flattened in the final sixteenth. SANDMAN laid up close inside of rivals from the two path, came under coaxing along the rail midway around the far turn, but was short of room behind rivals from the two path in upper stretch, and finished evenly. TRACK PHANTOM prompted the pace in the three path, bid under coaxing passing the quarter, but yielded between foes in upper stretch.
