SEVERE CLEAR set the pace along the inside, inched away confidently rounding the turn, was cued passing the quarter, kicked away while in the two path at the top if the lane, and was much the best. ANTE UP TONY raced in midpack from the three path, angled out under a ride midway around the turn, swung from the eight path into the stretch, and ran on to clearly second best. RAGTIME SIZZLE trailed in the two path, was roused from the rail midway around the turn, angled out to the five path approaching the eighth pole, and kept on between foes for show. COLDASICE stalked in the four path, was coaxed along around the turn, floated out to the six path passing the furlong grounds, and flattened. FLAT STORMIN had a slow start, raced off the pace in the two path, tipped out to the four path while coming under a ride at the top of the lane, but finished evenly. WHAT'S HER NUMBER chased in the three path, was coaxed along between foes midway around the turn, angled out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, but made no closing bid. MISS TIFEYE was wellback in the three path early and did not factor. MYSPITTINIMAGE vied for the early lead in the two path but yielded along the inside down the stretch. RED VOLTA bumped with an inner foe at the start, prompted the pace in the three path but gave way down the lane. BL FORTY bumped with an outer foe at the start, chased in the five path, was driven around the turn, but did not threaten. CHICA ARMA raced in range along the inside, was driven from the rail around the turn, had to steady passing the quarter, then retreated. C. C. FOXII raced off the pace inside but never menaced.
