Footnotes
TOUGH CATCH showed the way in the two path, was ridden along the inside around the turn, faced an outer challenger midway around the turn, dug in stubbornly while floating out to the four path at the top of the lane, drifted out to the six path passing the eighth pole, and drew clear in the final sixteenth. GO CAPTAIN pressed the winner in the four path, bid under coaxing from the two path midway around the turn, sustained that bid while tipping out to the five path at the top of the stretch, got herded out to the seven path passing the furlong grounds, and could not keep up in the final sixteenth. HAILSTORM raced off the pace in the three path, angled out while driven along midway around the turn, swung from the five path into the lane, and kept on between foes to get up for show. BADDEST GOOD BOY trailed in the four path, was pushed along around the turn, and passed tired foes from the five path in the stretch. R HEISMAN got herded out at the start, settled in midpack in the three path, was roused passing the quarter, but made no closing bid. EL PRESTIGIO tracked in the three path, inched closer under a nudge around the turn, but drifted out to the seven path in upper stretch, then faded. PERFECT FORCE rated from just off the rail but flattened from the two path in the final furlong. MAX GOT EXCITED broke out the steadied at the start, was wellback in the two path and did not threaten.
