GUN RUNNER CHARLIE settled up close in the two path, was ridden around the far turn, bid midway around the far turn, exchanged bumps while dueling with an inner rival from the three to four paths down the lane, and inched ahead late. VIKING showed the way along the inside, came under pressure when challenged midway around the far turn, dug in gamely while dueling with an outer rival from the two to three paths down the stretch, exchanged bumps thru the stretch, and got edged out. EXPECT THE BEST steadied early, rated between foes in the two path, was roused while angling out passing the three-eighths pole, swung from the five path into the lane, and kept on for show. FAUST tracked inside, was ridden from the rail around far turn, angled out to the four path turning into the stretch, but flattened. DANCE SOME MO rated in the three path, angled to the rail under a ride midway around the far turn, but made no final bid. HEART N SOUL prompted the pace in the three path up the backstretch but yielded entering the lane. CRISIS MANAGER was wellback in the four path, angled into the two path entering the far turn, but made no impact. DIVINE JUSTICE raced in midpack outside of rivals from the four path, but retreated. AFLEET SKY had an awkward start and trailed throughout along the inside.
