BOSSOFTHEBLOCK stalked in the four path, loomed in hand behind the leader in the three path passing the quarter, received a right handed cue while bidding from the five path at the top of the lane, took command passing the furlong grounds, and kicked away. KAVA rated in the two path, was coaxed between foes midway around the far turn, angled out passing the quarter, swung from the eight path into the stretch, and ran on to get up for place. SWEET BABY D was wellback in the two path, cued from the three path approaching the quarter, angled out to the five path in upper stretch, but got herded out by an inner rival immediately after around the eighth pole, then finished evenly for show. MONETA prompted the pace in the four path, took command under coaxing in the three path approaching the quarter, tipped back out to the four path entering the stretch, lost the lead in upper stretch, drifted out passing the furlong grounds, and faded. SHADY VALLEY chased in the three path, was ridden around the turn, got floated out to the seven path at the top of the lane, and made no closing bid. CLOSDATGATE raced off the pace in the three path, angled to the rail under urging passing the quarter, but did not factor. MENU showed the way in the two path, came under a ride while being challenged by an outer rival midway around the turn, surrendered the lead nearing the quarter, and gave way on the left lead down the lane. COURU had a slow start, tracked inside but retreated in the three path down the lane. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER THE STEWARDS HELD AN INQUIRY TO LOOK AT THE STRETCH RUN AS THE FOULED HORSE FINISHED AHEAD OF THE HORSE WHO COMMITTED THE FOUL.
