BOURBON SOCIETY showed the way from just off the rail into the backstretch, was cued when challenged by an outer foe midway around the far turn, dug in gamely while dueling with that foe into the final furlong, and inched clear in the final sixteenth. CITY OF ANGELS pressed the winning pacesetter in the two path, vied for the lead under coaxing midway around the far turn, continued to battle with the inner pacesetter into the final furlong, but got repelled in the final sixteenth. WEAPONIZED rated in the three path, was driven around the far turn, and kept on between foes in the three path down the lane for show. MAJOR DAX tracked in the two path, was ridden around the far turn, bumped an outer foe while angling out to the five path at the top of the stretch, and stayed on but lost the show bob. DEVILS FORK stalked in the four path, was coaxed along from the three path around the far turn, swung from the six path into the lane, bumped with an inner foe at the top of the lane, and flattened. TYLER'S TURN settled in midpack from the three path, was pushed along in the two path around the far turn, but faded. SCOTTISH STORM chased from off the rail but retreated around the far turn. REBEL MOON had an awkward start and broke slowly, was wellback in the four path up the backstretch but never threatened. SWAMP KING was wellback along the inside and never menaced.
