MARKANSAS dueled for the lead from the two path entering the backstretch, was roused while holding command along the inside midway around the far turn, and kicked away in the two path down the lane. WILLY CUTS stalked in the four path, was coaxed along from the three path around the far turn, took aim at the top of the stretch, could not keep up with the winner, but held place. CAPTAIN HAMAZING settled off the pace in the four path, was ridden around the far turn, floated out to the six path at the top of the lane, and finished evenly for show. SPOOKY ACTION chased in the three path, swung from the five path under a drive into the stretch, but made no final bid. GRAY TAPS pulled to press the pace from the three path up the backstretch, came under pressure entering the far turn, then yielded down the lane. HEAVENS HOUND was wellback along the rail, improved inside of rivals approaching the quarter, but made no closing bid. BET ON TIZ chased inside, angled out to the three path midway around the far turn, swung from the seven path into the lane, but was never a factor. FLEETWOOD JACK had an awkward start, trailed in the four path and never threatened. BECAUSE I'M HAPPY tracked inside, was driven around the far turn, but retreated. REBEL CHARLIE hopped at the start, raced in midpack from the two path but retreated. FLAT OUT BLESSED was held up in the four path early but never menaced.
