MISS ARLINGTON dueled for the lead in the three path, held command under confident handling in the two path midway around the turn, kicked away at the top of the lane, was called on for more run around the three-sixteenths, and held clear. KEY TO SUCCESS rated in the two path, ranged up under a drive in the three path around the turn, and ran on in the four path down the stretch to be second best. DEMIDANU had a slow start, trailed along the rail, angled out to the three path passing the three-eighths pole, swung from the six path into the lane, and kept on for show. SWIFTWIND raced in midpack from the three path going into the turn, merged into the two path midway around the turn causing an inner foe to have to check, then floated out to the five path in upper stretch, and flattened. LIUZZA rated in the three path, tipped into the two path while being coaxed into the turn, but got pinched back and had to check midway around the turn, then floated out to the six path entering the lane, and lacked a final bid. PISTOL tracked inside but faded in the three path down the stretch. POPPERINA was wellback in the two path, carried out to the four path midway around the turn, and made no impact. TITLED LADY stalked in the four path, was driven from the three path around the turn, but gave way. BEST CUPCAKE vied for the lead inside but yielded down the lane. AFTER A STEWARDS INQUIRY AS WELL AS AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF LIUZZA AGAINST THE RIDER OF SWIFTWIND TO LOOK AT THE SAME INFRACTION, SWIFTWIND WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FOURTH AND PLACED FIFTH FOR ANGLING INTO THE PATH OF LIUZZA MIDWAY AROUND TURN CAUSING HER TO HAVE TO CHECK AND COSTING A CHANCE OF A BETTER PLACING.
