BLACK POWDER tracked inside, came under pressure passing the five sixteenths pole, cut the corner to bid at the top of the shortened lane, narrowly led from the rail passing the sixteenth pole, and held on. SPOILER raced in midpack between foes from the two path, was under heavy pressure rounding the far turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the stretch, ran on to make it close late, and got up for place. DYNAMIS led the field from the two path up the backstretch, was driven into the far turn, dug in stubbornly from the three path down the lane, but got edged out on both sides at the wire. PIKE PLACE bumped with an outer foe at the start, trailed in the four path, was pushed along in the three path around the far turn, fanned out to the eight path at the top of the stretch, and rallied outside of rivals. MIDNIGHT WEST pressed in the three path, vied for the lead from the two path around the far turn, fought on in the three path down the lane, but yielded around the sixteenth. GUNFLASH bumped with an inner foe at the start, raced off the pace in the two path and finished evenly from the four path down the stretch. CREATIVE MINISTER rated in the three path, was ridden around the far turn, but lacked a closing bid. CONQUERING CAT raced in range in the three path, floated out to the seven path under a drive turning into the short stretch, and faded. EL REY DORADO chased in the four path but retreated around the far turn.
