Footnotes
CLEVER AGAIN broke outward but alertly, clear into the first turn, relaxed while showing the way up the backstretch and into the far turn, shrugged off a couple of foes turning for home while still in hand, shaken up into the lane and maintained daylight to the wire under a firm left handed crop. SHEPHERD bump start, lacked speed off the inside, four to five wide late in the final turn when advancing, could do little with the winner through the lane, clearly second best. JUST CLASSIC broke out to bump the runner up, was straightened and laid off the winner's outside, continued to prompt that one the middle half, began to lose contact with that same rival into the stretch, could not contain the runner up, saved the show. FEVER NIGHT void of speed along the inside, continued to save ground second turn, improved up the rail stretch without posing a serious threat. ZARDUN remained back off the pace inside, came in the two path for the drive, improved slightly upper stretch then lacked a closing punch. DOROTEO forwardly placed while racing three wide, within striking distance in the four path exiting the final turn, had little lerft. BAOBAB allowed to settled off the pace, came up empty for the stretch run. CRISIS MANAGER was in tight at the start, finished early. RIPPED four wide into the first turn, continued in mid pack outside, four wide again late in the final bend, backed up through the stretch. HIRED GUN broke awkwardly to be back early, made a mild advance midway up the backstretch outside, shortened stride with four furlongs remaining, pulled up far turn, left the track via the equine ambulance.
