CORNUCOPIAN broke alertly, dueled up front closest to the inside through some rapid opening fractions, disposed of the other speed in upper stretch and pulled away in continuing in quick fashion and under continued steady handling late until coasting the final few strides. ZERO SUGAR in the second flight while between horses, moved a bit closer three wide into the stretch, proved little threat to the winner through the lane, held sway for the place late. OY GEVALD brushed with FAUST at the start, saved ground into the turn, two path entering the stretch, shifted out a bit further a staged a mild rally for the show. OIL CAPITAL broke forwardly, pressured the winner from the outside up the backstretch and into the dueled, through the turn in the two path, began to gradually weaken in upper stretch and lost a couple of positions to the wire. SIXTYSEVEN MUSTANG behind the early pace inside, continued one paced while saving ground turn, one paced to the wire. FAUST brushed at the start, raced back and just off the inside, raced the inside through the turn, lacked a closing kick. MAX GOT EXCITED three wide and well off the pace, picked off a couple of tiring rivals after the issue had been decided. READY TO SEIZE last away, trailed most of the way, also picked off a couple of faltering foes while never a factor. GUN RUNNER CHARLIE tired while racing four wide through the turn. WISE DECISION within striking distance in the second flight outside, began a steady retreat before a half.
