Footnotes
QUIETSIDE moved up to press then issue when asked into the first the first time, continued to apply pressure outside the leader the middle half while under a light hold, , came out a bit when moving to challenge turning for home, vied between horses through upper stretch, edged away late under steady handling. FIVE G broke sharp, narrowly showed the way into the first turn in the two path, rated slightly when showing the way up the backstretch, responded when the winner came alongside late in the final turn, continued to battle through upper stretch, proved stubborn to the end while pulling away for the second spot. MUHIMMA broke well along the inside, inside the runner up into the first turn when prominent, pulled, bit rank through that bend while continued to be covered up, tracked the middle half mile, moved outside the dueling pair late in the final bend, floated out to the four path by the winner into the lane, remained within striking distance past the furlong marker then came up empty to the wire. NECESSITY away in good order, settled in the two path, continued to run off the inside in even fashion through the final turn, went one paced through the lane. QUICKICK back off the early pace just off the rail, made a mild middle move through the final turn then went flat through the lane. ANONIMA void of early foot while four wide through the first turn, continued outside, four to five wide through the second bend, improved position a bit while not a serious threat. LOOK FORWARD bobbled at the start to be away slowly, raced back, raced two to three wide through the second turn, improved a bit through the lane while also not making a major impact. JENKIN saved ground behind the early pace, came three wide for the drive, had little left for the run to the wire. GOING STEADY carried out to be five wide into the first turn, three wide through the second bend, failed to muster a rally. TAKE CHARGE MILADY in tight at the start, trailed well back off the inside, in some traffic into the far turn, passed a couple of tiring rivals while not a factor. GUNITE MAX in mid pack early, was finished after four furlongs. FLASH WEAR was never close, finished well back. CLASSIC APPEAL also gave way after a half, stopped in the final turn, jogged in.
