TIWANAKU away well, dueled up front closest to the inside, continued to alternate into and through the far turn, shrugged off the other speed to be clear entering the stretch, drifted out with a sixteenth to run, held the runner up comfortably safe late. FACE VALUE behind the duel while off the inside first turn, stalked three wide up the backstretch, closer while outside the two leaders into the far turn, lost some ground to the winner turning for home and could not get back to that one, clear of the others. MAD ADAM settled in the second flight along the inside, continued to save some ground into the final turn, two path into the lane, along for the show while not a threat to the top pair. CONTRABANDISTA in the second group while between horses for six furlongs, three wide into the lane, went evenly to the wire. CANDY FOR CARMEL lagged well back in trailing for six furlongs, knifed three wide and between horses into the lane, displayed a modest amount of late interest. FIRE BRYAN dueled up front in the two path for six furlongs, gave way. MR. THUNDERSTRUCK behind the pace while outside, four wide into the lane, backed up in the run to the wire.
