LIGHTNING STRUCK vied for the lead in the three path, waited between foes from the two path around the turn, received a right handed cue passing the quarter, dug in gamely while dueling with an outer foe from the three path down the lane, and forged ahead in the final sixteenth. MIDNIGHT MAJESTY laid up close outside of the dueling leaders from the four path, was roused to bid form the three path midway around the turn, kicked on to sustain that bid while back in the four path entering the stretch, headed an inner rival while dueling into the final furlong, but got repelled late. BOAT SONG had a slow start, chased between rivals from the two path into the turn, came under pressure midway around the turn, swung from the five path into the lane, and ran on for show. UNLOAD rated inside, tipped out to the three path under a ride midway around the turn, then fanned out to the six path at the top of the stretch, and stayed on. KUNSHAN BRIDGE was prompted from in range along the rail, pushed along around the turn, angled out to the four path at the top of the lane, but made no closing bid. MIRI A COINCIDENCE dueled for the lead in the two path, came under urging along the rail passing the quarter, but yielded in the stretch. HEDGE trailed in the three path and did not threaten. BORN FLAWLESS tracked in the three path but retreated.
