GOLDEN EDGE broke on top, sprinted clear, give a bit of a breather while still in front by daylight through the turn, turned back the runner up with a furlong to run and edged clear again late. SENDING broke in mid pack, moved up steadily to chase the winner into the turn, closer still when lodging a bid from the outside approaching midstretch, could no match the winner late while holding sway for the place. MOENCHANTED back off the pace while racing outside, began a steady advance while four wide through the turn, closest to the top two with a furlong to run, slowly getting to the runner up late. L. A. DIAMOND went one paced throughout while saving ground. PATIENT EMILIE fell back to trail after the start, continued to lag turn, two path and between horses into the stretch, improved position in finding his best stride late. Y CITY broke back, in some traffic turning for home, improved position when clear while not a serious threat. WOODCUT bumped start, raced in the second flight while three wide and outside the runner up, weakened through the stretch. SUNDAE SPRINKLES saved ground to no avail. TACTICAL EXPRESS bumped at the start, settled in the two path, lacked response drive. SKY RAVEN in mid pack while racing off the rail, had nothing for the drive. POLSKA SUE pinballed at the break, remained back. STEPHAN AGAIN failed to menace while four to five wide out of the turn.
