DAISY DUKE off the early pace off the inside, advanced to challenge four wide turning for home, dueled through upper stretch then drew clear under steady handling. BATTLESHIPPER forwardly placed out in the strip, advanced on the leaders and vied three wide through the turn, dueled inside the winner through upper stretch then could not keep up, clearly second best. BAYTOWN BUTTERFLY dropped inside, angled back out to be three wide turning for home, rallied mildly to gain the show. MILLIE'S STARDUST broke alertly, with the pace for a half along the inside, weakened in the drive. COMPLEX SECRET fell back to trail after the start, improved position a bit in the drive without posing a serious threat. ALANIS last to leave, moved up, dueled up front early off the inside, gave way from between horses late in the turn. SWIFTWIND made little impact while racing along the inside. SQUARE BABY was finished before a half.
