Footnotes
BOAT SONG in mid pack early while in the two path, made a steady advance through the turn in the two path, dropped to the rail late in the turn rail bid approaching the furlong marker, quickly drew clear under steady handling. EXPRESS CRUISER forwardly placed while off the inside, came three wide for the drive, brief bid nearing midstretch then proved no match for the winner, well clear of the rest. MOON OVER EGBERT void of early foot, angled out to be five wide into the stretch, along the show down the middle of the strip. DALTON'S RUTROW broke back, moved to the rail when beginning a mild advance late in the turn, improved position, missed the show. J J'S RANGER chased the leader two to three wide for a half, had little left for the for the stretch run. RAVIN'S TOWN broke sharp, quickly got clear, extended that advantage through the turn, gave way abruptly when confronted nearing the furlong grounds. HUSKER BUTCH one paced inside for a half, moved out a bit to be in the two path for the drive, continued evenly to the wire in lacking a closing response. GUIDED ARROW off the pace and the inside early, three wide through the turn, found lacking in the drive. BELLAMYS ROAN off a step slow and was never a threat. AXTON steadily faded while four wide through the turn. CAPTAIN JACK broke well, fell back steadily the opening quarter, four to five wide turn, no factor.
