RACE READY tracked behind the pacesetter along the rail, came under pressure passing the three-eighths pole, angled out to the three path to bid passing the quarter, took command while swinging out to the four path at the top of the lane, drifted out to the six path passing the eighth pole, and drew clear. C MCGRIFF showed the way along the inside turning into the backstretch, was cued from the two path when challenged approaching the quarter, lost the lead entering the stretch, could not keep up with the winner, but kept on to clearly be second best. CANDY CANE CRAIN rated in the three path, bumped with an inner foe going into the far turn, was roused between rivals from the two path midway around the far turn, and finished evenly from the three path in the stretch for show. ACE JACK DEUCE stalked in the two path, was driven from the three path around the far turn, swung from the five path into the stretch, but made no final bid. MAGAMAK was unhurried along the inside, ridden from the rail around the far turn, but got stymied midway around the far turn, then weakened. MISS YOU MO prompted the pace in the three path but gave way entering the stretch. RAZOR TAP steadied around the first turn, laid off the pace in the two path, bumped with an outer foe entering the far turn, and did not factor. LIBERTY'S CHAMPION had a slow start, trailed in the four path, was driven into the far turn, but never threatened. MIDSHAKIN raced in midpack from the three path but retreated around the far turn. Please note LIBERTY'S CHAMPION raced with a spider plate on his right front.
