Footnotes
TEJANO TWIST trailed in the four path, improved while in hand from the three path rounding the turn, ranged up while angling out to the seven path to take aim at the top of the lane, rallied down the center, took command just after the eighth pole, and kicked clear in the final sixteenth while ridden out. BOOTH pressed the pace in the two path, vied in hand rounding the turn, led passing the quarter, was roused from the three path at the top of the stretch, stayed on, got overtaken by the winner just after the eighth pole, but held place. GOLD SWEEP bumped with an outer foe at the start, stalked the leading duo from the four path, rounded the turn while driven from the three path, floated out to the five path entering the lane, and kept on for show. DURANTE chased in the two path, was asked for more run passing the three-eighths pole, but flattened from the four path in the stretch. HOLA JOEY hit the gate then bumped with an outer foe at the start, rushed up to set the pace inside, received a right handed cue midway around the turn, but lost the lead passing the quarter, and yielded in the stretch.
