Footnotes
EXPLORA broke forwardly, prompted the leader from the outside in the three path, engaged that one in the two path in the far turn, took over into the lane, briefly opened a daylight advantage when straightened for home, roused, held the runner up safe in the final strides while under continued steady handling. COUNTING STARS lacked early foot while off the inside, began a steady advance three then four wide second turn, lost some ground to the winner into the stretch, slowly getting to that one late while pulling clear for the second spot. SNEAKY GOOD forwardly placed inside, continued to save ground while idling up the backstretch and into the far turn to lose some position, in some traffic into the lane, closer in upper stretch, flattened out a bit late to be outkicked for the second spot. SEARCH PARTY settled off the pace and the inside, two path into the far turn, steered out to be four wide turning for home, widest for the drive when set down, lacked a serious closing response to finish up evenly. KNICKLEANDIME took control soon after breaking in good order, continued to show the way up the backstretch and into the far turn, briefly raced on equal terms with the winner into the stretch closest to the inside then could not keep up. GRACE IS FREE back off the pace and a bit keen into and through the first half of the clubhouse turn, advanced into a forward position before a half, continued within striking distance in the far turn then began to gradually weaken when in some traffic entering the stretch. CLASSIC GLIDE broke in to be last away, trailed early, continued back, three wide through the final bend, failed to muster a significant response in the stretch. TAKEN BY THE WIND in the second flight while off the inside, gave way in the second turn and continued to weaken through the lane. TAKE CHARGE MACY was finished after a half, trailed home while jogging across the wire.
