AL'S ROMEO showed the way in the two path, waited around the turn before coming under a ride passing the quarter, and kicked on from the three path down the lane to hold firm. KING PEANUT tracked behind the winning pacesetter, was asked for more run while just off the rail midway around the turn, and ran on along the inside down the stretch for place. STRATO pressed the winner in the three path, was cued passing the quarter, took aim in the five path at the top of the lane, and kept on but got out-finished by an inner pair to show. STRING THEORY rated in the three path, angled out to the seven path under a drive turning into the stretch, and finished evenly to pass a tired inner pair in the final furlong. NATORADE trailed in the two path, was coaxed along around the turn, but finished on one pace from the three path down the lane. AZTECA WARRIOR stalked in the four path, was driven from the three path into the turn, but faded from the five path in the stretch. LAKE OF FIRE was wellback along the inside early and never menaced.
