STRADALE laid in range just behind the dueling leaders in the two path, loomed up to bid under hold between foes from the three path midway around the turn, was cued from the five path at the top of the lane, held command passing the furlong grounds, and drew clear. SWUNG vied for the early lead, held command while coming under pressure in the two path midway around the turn, fought on from the three path in upper stretch, evened out in the final furlong, but was clearly second best. CANNED HEAT was hustled from a stalking position in the four path, ridden in the three path around the turn, floated out to the six path entering the lane, then faded but held show. CHAD ALLAN steadied at the start, trailed in the three path, fanned out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, but made no impact. ZEUS'S ECHO dueled for the lead along the rail, came under a drive passing the three-eighths pole, but yielded in the stretch. AWESOME MAGIC tracked in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the turn, but retreated, pulled up after returning from the gallop out and was transported off the track in an equine ambulance. STRONG POTENTIAL chased from the rail, was ridden around the turn, but gave way in the three path down the lane.
