GUN FIRE showed the way while just off the rail, came under pressure midway around the turn, lost the crop while kicking on around the eighth pole, but forged clear. CAPITAL CONNECTION bumped with an outer foe at the start, prompted the pace in the three path, was pushed along around the turn, ran on from the four path down the stretch, got hit by the winning rider's dislodged crop passing the furlong grounds, but was second best. HIGHWAY PATROL tracked along the rail, was nudged along around the turn, and finished evenly from the three path down the lane to be best of the rest. WORLD FAIR broke out and bumped FAIRFIELD BAY, raced in range from the two path but faded from the four path in the final furlong. SAVING HEART was wellback in the four path, floated out to the six path under a drive turning into the lane, but was one paced. JOEWILLY trailed in the five path early and made no impact. FAIRFIELD BAY got bumped by WORLD FAIR at the start, rated inside, was ridden in the two path around the turn, but made no final bid from the four path down the lane. HAPPY I AM bobbled and bumped with an inner foe, chased in the two path, was driven along the inside around the turn, but made no closing bid. AMAZING MUSIC stalked in the four path, was driven around the turn, but retreated. ROMAN HONOR raced towards the back of the pack in the four path and never menaced.
