TAPTASTIC was held up along the inside around the first turn, tracked behind the pacesetter up the backstretch, came under pressure passing the five-sixteenths point, waited for the pacesetter to tip off the rail entering the short stretch, slipped thru that opening to bid passing the furlong grounds, took command entering the final sixteenth, and forged clear. DAWN AT NORMANDY dictated terms while under a hold along the inside turning into the backstretch, got put to nudge early into the far turn, tipped out to the two path while coming under a drive at the top of the shortened lane, and ran on but was out-kicked by the inner winner. BON TEMPS stalked the leading duo from the three path up the backstretch, was coaxed from the four path passing the quarter, and finished evenly down the stretch for show. MULA bumped with an inner foe at the start, pressed the pace in the two path up the backstretch, was ridden into the far turn, vied for the lead passing the quarter, swung from the three path into the stretch, but faded. BARKER bumped with an outer foe at the start, then steadied while drifting out leaving the first turn, trailed in the three path, was driven around the far turn, but never menaced.
