PRAYFORPEACE broke alertly, angled in steadily soon after to tighten up RAVIN'S TOWN along the rail who in turn clipped heels, gained a daylight advantage as a result while firmly in hand, dueled into the turn while remaining inside, put the other speed away turning for home and increased his advantage while kept to pressure under a brisk hand ride. JACKMAN broke forwardly, continued close up early while off the inside, moved to challenge the winner late backstretch, dueled through the turn then could not keep up, chased past the furlong marker then was fully extended to narrowly last for the second spot. RAVIN'S TOWN broke with the leaders, maintained forward position just inside the winner soon after, was put in tight quarters by PRAYFORPEACE just before a furlong, clipped heels, fell back to race behind the dueling leaders into the turn, angled out three wide turning for home, finished willingly to be closing the gap on the runner up in the late going. VDAYTOTHETENACIOUS raced back off the early pace, asked along early in the turn, idled through the turn then improved position while racing mostly in the two path to also be gaining for the runner up position. LIGHTNING STRUCK off the pace while out in the strip, three to four wide turn, failed to respond through the lane. CAPE TRAFALGAR rank and broke out to be away slowly, continued back, four to five wide turn, fanned six wide into the lane, also failed to muster a closing response. BOAT SONG bothered to be off slowly as well, moved up to mid pack, four to five wide turn, between foes into the lane, tired in the run to the wire. FOLLOWING A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF RAVIN'S TOWN AGAINST PRAYFOREPEACE FOR INTERFERENCE NEARING THE FIVE FURLONG MARK, THE LATTER WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED THIRD.
