RAYMOND void of early foot outside, advanced into a forward position while four out to five wide late in the turn, challenged on the outside nearing the furlong grounds, dueled the next sixteenth before gaining the advantage and edging away. AIR OF DEFIANCE broke well narrowly set the pace along the inside, continued to hold the advantage upper stretch, responded when the winner challenged a furlong out and gave ground grudgingly to that one while clearly second best. SITKA forwardly placed while racing outside, continued four wide through the turn, failed to keep pace with the winner when that one went by in upper stretch, finished up in even fashion to prove best of the rest. FIVE O' SOMEWHERE prompted the issue up front three wide until upper stretch before giving way from between horses. WITHOUT OBJECTION chased the first flight while along the inside, set down for the drive, lacked a closing response. VALE broke back and failed to menace while racing off the inside and between horses. GOLDEN LUNA pressed the runner up from between horses for a half and then backed up through the stretch.
