DONITA broke out, bothered foe, showed the way into the first turn toward the inside, continued to set the pace the middle half through some soft fractions, clear into the lane, not threatened in the run to the wire while being kept to task with a firm right handed crop. KAVA settled off the pace while racing outside, four wide into the first turn, continued unhurried the middle half while still well out in the strip, raced four wide again into the stretch, finished well to be clearly second best, no threat to the winner. MIRACLE MINDED forwardly placed along the inside, continued within striking distance into the far turn, moved a bit closer while still along the rail turning to the lane, flattened a bit to finish up evenly and report home clear of the rest. BATTISTO chased the winner in the two path, had little for that one in weakening through the lane. WHY CHRIS WHY off a step slow, lacked early speed, moved out a bit to race three wide through the second turn, improved position slightly through the lane while not a threat to the top three. OPEN FLAME bothered to be off a step slow, five wide into the first turn, mid pack while four wide into the second bend, tired through the stretch. CLOSDATGATE in the main group while three wide through the first turn, dropped inside second bend, faded through the lane. C NOTE GIA fell back to trail after the start, was always outrun.
