MINTASTIC settled in range between foes from the two path, was asked for more run while in the three path passing the five sixteenths pole, swung out to the six path at the top of the lane, kicked on to bid passing the furlong grounds, and drew ahead in the final sixteenth. CHARBON showed the way along inside up the backstretch, was pushed along into the far turn, kicked on willingly from the two path down the shortened stretch, but got overtaken by the winner around the sixteenth to place. HOODLUM stalked from the four path up the backstretch, ranged up to bid under a ride early around the far turn, got out-finished by the top two, but kept on for show. KHOZY MY BOY tracked inside, came under a ride midway around the far turn, but finished evenly from the two path in the stretch. WINTER'S GHOST was unhurried along inside around the first turn, chased in the four path up the backstretch, came under a drive passing the five-sixteenths, but made no closing bid. PATCH O'BRIEN prompted the pace in the two path but yielded from the three path in the stretch. SIVAKO trailed throughout and was never involved.
