Footnotes
MAX DOT SOCKS forwardly placed from the start off the inside, bit closer while between horses late in the turn, saw that progress stall in upper stretch, challenged outside the pacesetter with less than a furlong remaining, put a head in front then drew clear late under steady handling. UNBRIDLED'S HEIR broke alertly, showed the way up the backstretch toward the inside, continued to set the pace through the turn, shook clear again when straightened for home, responded when the winner challenged inside the furlong grounds then proved no match in the late going, remained clear the second spot. HOLUS BOLUS within striking distance along the inside, continued to stalk along the rail in the turn, moved out a bit for the drive, slowly gaining for the second spot. TIME ANDBEYOND within striking distance while racing three wide, continued in good position with creeping closer late in the turn, went falt through the lane in lacking a closing kick. TASK back off the pace while racing outside, went four wide through the turn, went evenly through the lane. SIR PEEL went one paced while racing in the two path. GETOUTYOURWALLET fractious in the gate prior to the start, saved ground to no avail. GREY STREET in mid pack while racing three wide, had little for the drive. MIRACLE MACK off a step slow, remained always back while racing three wide. BATTLEOFTHERAVINE off slow, fell further back, remained sluggish, distanced after losing contact with the field into the stretch, jogged in.
