RAZOR TAP bumped with an outer foe at the start, stalked from the four path up the backstretch, ranged up under coaxing to bid passing the quarter, bumped with an inner rival while in the five path in upper stretch, but kicked on to take command passing the furlong grounds, and drew clear. ASHBURNER laid up close in the three path, was driven around the far turn, floated out to the seven path in upper stretch, and ran on for place. LOOKIN AT MAC was keen around the first turn, pressed the pace between foes in the two path, got shuffled back under coaxing midway around the far turn, then was in traffic at the top of the lane, angled out to the six path for the final furlong, and edged out show. BAYOU FLYER raced off the pace in the three path, was driven in the four path around the far turn, fanned out to the eight path at the top of the stretch, but flattened around the sixteenth. ONYX OUTLAW bumped with an inner foe at the start, moved up in the four path around the first turn to vie for the lead in the three path up the backstretch, was pushed along into the far turn, fought on from the four path into the lane, tipped out to bump with the outer winner just before the eighth pole, then faded in the final furlong. ATHLETIC LIKE trailed in the three path early and did not factor. MIDSHAKIN tracked along the rail but weakened in the stretch. JACKIE PAPER pulled to set the tempo around the first turn, dueled with an outer pair from the rail up the backside, was asked for more run going by the three-eighths pole, but gave way in the final furlong. RACE WAS HAND TIMED DUE TO TIMER MALFUNCTION.
