LEBOMBO stalked from the three path up the backstretch, ranged up to bid under a ride passing the quarter, took command from the five path passing the furlong grounds, and held firm. PROMISSIONE bumped with an inner foe at the start, rated in the three path, was cued from the four path midway around the far turn, and ran on in the six path down the stretch for place. MAJOR DAX was wellback in the three path, ridden between foes into the far turn, swung from the six path into the lane, drifted out passing the eighth pole, but was corrected, then kept on to get up for show. GRAND ORACLE prompted the pace in the two path, was cued midway around the far turn, bid between rivals passing the quarter, but faded. GIANT MOON bumped between foes at the start, dictated terms along the inside turning into the backstretch, came under pressure passing the three-eighths pole, but yielded in the stretch. CITY OF ANGELS steadied along the rail going into the first turn, then again leaving the first turn, laid up close along the rail, was cued midway around the far turn, tipped out to the four path in upper stretch, but faded on the left lead. CHAPERONE chased from the two path but yielded around the far turn. STOKE THE FIRE bumped with an outer foe at the start, trailed in the four path up the backstretch and never menaced.
