SPEEDSTORM stalked an inner duo, was nudged along from the three path into the turn, got put to a ride midway around the turn, bid while swinging from the four path into the lane, and kicked on to inch ahead late. CAPITAL CONNECTION held a contested lead from the two path, was nibbled along from the rail around the turn, cued passing the quarter, bumped with an outer foe while digging in passing the furlong grounds, but got edged out by another outer foe in the closing stages. MCKINSENSE trailed out in the five path, was driven in the four path around the turn, swung from the five path into the lane, and ran on for show. HISTORIC bumped with an inner foe at the start, pressed the inner pacesetter, waited in the two path while vying for the lead around the turn, came under pressure between rivals passing the quarter, fought on from the three path in upper stretch, but bumped with an inner foe passing the furlong grounds, then flattened around the sixteenth. NYQUIST FREQUENCY tracked inside, angled out to the four path in upper stretch, and made no closing bid. HARD CIRCLE bumped with an outer foe at the start, rated between foes from the three path early but did not threaten.
