PROMISEMEANEMPIRE bumped with an outer foe at the start, showed the way from just off the rail up the backstretch, was asked for more run midway around the far turn, and kicked on while drifting out down the shortened lane to hold sway. BAMTWENTYKLATER bumped between foes at the start, chased in the three path, was driven around the far turn, floated out to the six path going down the short stretch, ran on to make it close late, but was out of time. CATCHING HEAT rated from the four path up the backstretch, was coaxed along around the far turn, swung from the seven path into the lane, and kept on for show. TEATOTAL laid off the pace in the two path, was pushed along around the far turn, and finished evenly from the four path in the stretch.
