WESTERN WARRIOR settled along the rail around the first turn, improved to track behind the pacesetter up the backstretch, split foes under a drive in the two path to bid midway around the far turn, took firm command from the three path turning into the lane, and kicked away. HIGHLY CONNECTED was unhurried in the two path, improved while being pushed along around the far turn, angled out passing the quarter, swung from the five path into the stretch, and kept on to clearly be second best. PERFECT AUDIBLE set the pace from just off the rail, was cued along the inside midway around the far turn, weakened down the lane, but held show. BIRD THE LEGEND chased in the three path, was coaxed along up the backstretch, but made no impact. BIG TECH laid up close in the three path, was asked for more run midway around the far turn, but gave way. JUST LIKE MAX stalked in the four path, came under a drive passing the three-eighths pole, but was empty from the five path at the top of the stretch. TIMBERLINE had a slow start, then always trailed from around the four path.
