GLOBAL HEAT WAVE pressed the runner up from the two path, vied for the lead from the three path early around the far turn, held command at the top of the lane, and kicked clear in the final furlong. TIMS set the pace inside, was cued when challenged midway around the far turn, lost the lead at the top of the lane, could not keep up with the winner in the final furlong, but dug in to hold place. ARKANSAS DAVE stalked in the three path, was pushed along around the far turn, kept on in the five path down the lane, but hung late to show. COPPERJACKET rated in the three path, was driven in the four path around the far turn, but flattened in the final furlong. EXPENSIVE GAME chased in the two path but made no closing bid. SHOOTER MCGAVIN was behind in the four path early and made no impact. MCBRIDGE raced in midpack from the three path but gave way down the lane. BLUSHING BEE tracked inside but retreated, then was eased thru the stretch. I'LL MISS YOU was wellback inside, could never get involved, and eased thru the stretch.
