COUNTING STARS away in good order, assumed a prompting position just to the outside of the pacesetter while firmly in hand, continued to be hard held in the run up the backstretch, moved at will to the front in the far turn, shook clear turning for home and was not threatened to the wire under a steady hand ride to win ridden out. SEARCH PARTY settled in the second flight along the inside, maintained that position in the run up the backstretch, waited in traffic behind the pacesetter who was beginning to give way into the far turn losing position between calls, steered out around that foe soon after, angled three wide into the lane and finished willingly to be clearly second best, no threat to the winner. TAKEN BY THE WIND forwardly placed while racing three wide, moved with the winner on the tiring pacesetter in the far turn, chased into the lane, offered little resistance to the runner up when that one ran by in upper stretch, gradually weakened but comfortably saved the show. STICKER SHOCK last away, raced in the second group while between horses, moved a bit closer in the two path in the final turn then stalled through the lane to quickly fade from contention. EMPATH broke alertly, showed the way into the first turn along the inside, continued to set the pace through some soft fractions, gave way readily when headed by the winner in the far turn.
