SHEPHERD stalked outside of rivals in the four path, came under a ride in the three path midway around the far turn, ranged up to bid from the four path turning into the lane, kicked on to lead from the three path passing the furlong grounds, and inched ahead. BAXTER pressed in the three path up the backstretch, vied for the lead from the two path around the far turn, led while tipping inwards entering the stretch, but got out-finished by an outer foe to place. PAPA YO set the pace in the two path, waited along the rail around the far turn, lost the lead while cutting the corner at the top of the lane, angled out the three path, and kept on willingly to hold show. PIKE PLACE laid up close along the rail, was roused midway around the far turn, angled out to the four path in upper stretch, and finished evenly. DETERMINEDLY rated in the three path, was coaxed along around the far turn, but flattened in the five path down the lane. PROTONIC POWER tracked between foes in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the far turn, angled out to the six path in upper stretch, but made no closing bid. QUALITY CHIC rated inside but made no impact.
