THREE YEARS OLD WHICH WERE BRED IN ARKANSAS AND QUALIFY UNDER THE RULES GOVERNING SAME. By subscription of $300 each, which shall have been paid to the A.T.B.H.A. by December, 31 of their yearling year. $500 to enter and $1,000 to start. $150,000 guaran teed (of which A.T.B.H.A. would furnish $75,000) after paying 2.5% of original purse to the owners of horses finishing 6th through last, 60% of the remaining purse will be paid to owner(s) of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 6% to fourth and 4% t o fifth. WEIGHT: 122 lbs. Non-winners of $50,000 allowed 3 lbs.; $35,000 allowed 5 lbs.; $25,000 allowed 7 lbs. Starters to be named through the entry box at time of closing. THERE IS NO SPLIT PROVISION. If the number entering exceeds the starting g ate capacity, the number to start will be determined under RULE 2258 of the Arkansas State Racing Commission's Rules of Racing, by the Stewards and by horses that have accumulated the highest earnings. No Owner can start more than one horse to the exclu sion of a single entry. Supplementary nominations may be made by the closing time of entries at a fee of $2,500. SEVENTIES MUSIC was hustled along from wellback in the two path, continued under a ride in the three path around the turn, split rivals turning into the lane, rallied from the three path into the final furlong, and surged late to nail an outer rival at the wire. INSTAMANIA bumped with an inner foe at the start, prompted the outer pacesetter from the rail, was roused to bid midway around the turn, took command from the four path in upper stretch, and stayed on, but got nailed by the surging inner winner at the wire. STROLLSMISCHIEF got fractious in the gate, set the pace in the two path, dueled under coaxing with an inner rival around the turn, fought on while floating out to the six path in upper stretch, but flattened on the left lead in the final sixteenth. SIOUX EMPIRE tracked in the two path, was coaxed along the inside around the turn, swung from the three path into the stretch, but made no closing bid. EXTRACT'S ARROW trailed in the three path, was driven around the turn, and passed tired foes. ARCO THUNDER bumped with an outer foe at the start, chased inside but weakened. CATTLE BARON raced up close in the three path but retreated. LIL TRICK got fractious in the gate, stalked in the four path but weakened.
