LIBERTY'S CHAMPION rated in the two path entering the backstretch, angled out while coming under a ride midway around the far turn, swung from the seven path into the lane, rallied past inner rivals while tipping inwards passing the sixteenth pole, then drew clear. ACE JACK DEUCE hopped and got pinched at the start, settled in midpack from the three path, ranged up under pressure to bid from the five path passing the quarter, swept to the lead in the six path at the top of the stretch, got herded inwards while being overtaken by the outer winner around the sixteenth, but was second best. SCUFFLE laid up close in the four path, vied under coaxing between foes midway around the far turn, fought on entering the lane, could not keep up with the top two in the final furlong, but held show. ASTRO BEAU trailed in the three path, split rivals midway around the far turn, angled out to the eight path at the top of the lane, but lacked a final bid. WHISKEY POINT prompted the pace between foes in the two path, vied under coaxing around the far turn, but yielded in the final furlong. OUT FLAT tracked along the rail, was coaxed from the three path midway around the far turn, but weakened on the left lead in the stretch. START OUT set the pace in the two path, was cued along the rail early around the far turn, but gave way. LOOKIN AT MAC broke out, chased in the two path but retreated, then was eased thru the stretch. GUN BOLT bumped with an inner foe at the start, stalked from the five path turning into the backstretch but backed up around the far turn.
