Footnotes
CALYCANTHUS broke out at the start, tracked in the two path up the backstretch, came under pressure in the two path midway around the far turn, floated out to the seven path to take aim at the top of the lane, kicked on to bid passing the furlong grounds, and drew ahead of an inner quarter around the sixteenth. YELLOW BRICK rated in the three path, angled to the rail entering the far turn, came under a drive passing the quarter, cut the corner to bid at the top of the stretch, got out-kicked by the winner, but dug in to edge out place. LEAR vied for the lead along the inside, was cued from the rail midway around the far turn, dug in gamely into the three path down the lane, but lost a minor photo to show. BATTER UP had slow start, laid off the pace in the three path, waited between foes around the far turn, was cued passing the quarter, angled out to the six path down the stretch, and kept on but got out-lasted. SKYLER bumped with an outer foe at the start, pressed in the two path, was cued to bid midway around the far turn, led while swinging out to the five path at the top of the lane, but yielded in the final furlong. LEBOMBO broke in and bumped an inner foe, laid up close in the three path, was driven around the far turn, but weakened from the four path in the stretch. MAZING MARK stalked in the four path, was cued passing the three-eighths pole, but retreated from the five path down the lane. MAGNA TAP broke slow and always trailed from around the three path.
