Footnotes
FIRST DIVISION tracked in the two path, waited under hold before tipping out midway around the far turn, came under pressure in the four path passing the quarter, bid while swinging from the five path into the lane, took firm command approaching the eighth pole, and drew clear. NUMBER ONE DUDE was prompted from up close in the two path, asked for more run passing the three-eighths pole, tipped out to the four path entering the stretch, could not keep up with the runaway winner, but kept on for place. BADDEST GOOD BOY bobbled and bumped with an inner foe at the start, trailed in the two path, was ridden around the far turn, angled out to the six path passing the furlong grounds, and ran on to get up for show late. OSCAR ECLIPSE bumped with an outer foe at the start, laid up close along the rail, came under pressure midway around the far turn, cut the corner to bid turning into the lane, but flattened. CLASSIFY went clear around the first turn to set the pace in the two path up the backstretch, came under coaxing from just off the rail midway around the far turn, fought on from the two path entering the lane, but faded in the final furlong. AMERICAN PROMISE rated in the four path, was coaxed along from the three path around the far turn, but was empty entering the stretch. GUN RUNNER CHARLIE hopped at the start, moved up in the four path around the first turn, stalked from there up the backstretch, came under a drive in the three path passing the three-eighths pole, but gave way passing the quarter.
