HYMN behind the pace toward the inside early, between rivals in the second flight into the turn, tipped out to be three wide turning for home, challenged nearing midstretch, lugged in, brushed with PRIDE'S PRINCE a furlong out, straightened, finished with good resolve to prove best. MASTER MULE off a step slow, saved ground into the turn when lacking speed, steered out for the drive, finished willingly to earn the place. PRIDE'S PRINCE broke with the leaders, with the pace three wide, led upper stretch, brushed by the winner a furlong out, weakened, caught for the second spot. RISK IT lacked speed well out in the strip, four wide into the turn, three wide exiting, staged a mild rally to better his position. ELI'S PROMISE vied up front while between foes for just over three furlongs and began to weaen. RUN JALEN RUN one paced out in the strip, three to four wide when floated out by the winner when moving with that one exiting the turn, lacked a closing punch. INNOVATOR flashed some brief speed along the inside and faded. TAP ME A SONG stumbled badly at the start unseating his rider.
