Footnotes
SURVEILLANCE tracked behind the pacesetter going into the turn, waited patiently for running room behind the trio in the three path passing the quarter, angled inside under a ride turning into the lane, kicked on to bid passing the furlong grounds, bumped with the outer pacesetter while taking the lead before the sixteenth, and drew ahead. R HEISMAN got sent to dictate the pace in the two path, was nudged along around the turn, came under a drive while swinging from the three path into the stretch, dug in gamely, bumped with the inner eventual winner before the sixteenth, but held the place bob. NASTY HABIT laid up close in the three path, vied for the lead around the turn, held a narrow advantage while in the four path entering the stretch, and fought on but got edged out by an inner pair. MISH stalked in the four path, was coaxed along around the turn, stayed on in the five path down the stretch, but got out-finished.
