MAD HOUSE showed the way while just off the rail, was nibbled along while getting challenged midway around the turn, fought on valiantly from the three path down the lane, switched to the left lead just after the sixteenth pole, but held firm. ROLL ON BIG JOE pressed the winner in the three path, vied under coaxing in the two path midway around the turn, dueled gamely with the inner pacesetter in the four path down the stretch, could not get past, but was clearly second best. DREAMINBLUE was wellback in the three path, pushed along around the turn, angled out to the eight path in upper stretch, and ran on for show. BOOTH tracked in the three path, came under pressure in the two path midway around the turn, but was one paced down the stretch. TEJANO TWIST trailed in the five path, was coaxed along around the turn, fanned out to the eight path at the top of the lane, and passed a tired inner pair. TOUGH CATCH laid up close inside, came under a ride from the rail early around the turn, but faded in the stretch. WENDELSSOHN laid in range outside, was cued in the four path midway around the turn, but yielded.
