Footnotes
ALWAYS SPITEFUL vied for the lead with an inner rival, took command in the two path passing the three-eighths pole, came under pressure midway around the turn, kicked on to open up from the three path at the top of the lane, and held firm. WHAT'S THE TEA tracked in the two path, ranged up under coaxing while tipping out to the four path passing the quarter, and ran from the five path down the stretch to clearly be second best. CLAP BACK laid up close outside of the leading inner duo, bid in the three path midway around the turn, but finished evenly from the four path down the lane for show. AMERICAN MISSY trailed inside, was coaxed along from just off the rail around the turn, floated out to the five path in upper stretch, but made no impact. REVEL TOAST chased in the three path, was cued midway around the turn, but weakened. MAGIC SEEKER dueled for the lead from along the rail but began to lose ground passing the three-eighths pole, and continued to give way down the stretch.
