Footnotes
INCA EMPIRE raced off the pace in the three path, improved while being nibbled along around the far turn, ranged up while splitting rivals in the three path passing the three-sixteenths pole, bid boldly from the four path at the top of the shortened lane, and inched ahead. DICK BEST held a contested lead in the two path turning up the backstretch, came under pressure passing the five-sixteenths pole, held command turning into the shortened stretch, lost the lead passing the furlong grounds. but ran on to hold place, pulled up after the gallop out and was transported off the track in an equine ambulance. ONE GIANT LEAP was wellback in the three path, moved up under a drive between foes in the four path around the far turn, swung from the six path into the lane, and kicked on for show. J T'S IMAGINATION trailed in the four path up the backstretch, advanced outside of foes from the five path around the far turn, fanned out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, and stayed on while on the left lead. LITTLE STEVEN bumped with an outer foe at the start, prompted the pace in the three path, was cued into the far turn, but flattened down the shortened lane. REBELIOUS bumped with an inner foe at the start, was unhurried along the rail, driven in the two path around the far turn, fought on in upper stretch, but flattened in the final furlong. FROST ALERT pressed the pace inside, was coaxed along from the rail around the far turn, but gave way in the stretch. GLOBAL EMPIRE rated off the rail, was driven into the far turn, but never threatened. KHOZY MY BOY stalked in the four path, was ridden into the far turn, got squeezed turning into the lane, but yielded. EASTSIDE COOL raced in midpack from the four path but retreated.
